  • you can choose between two versions:
    • 🆕 Improved version:
      of T-Beam does not contain a battery holder at all. A SMA connector is used to connect the 868MHz TX antenna directly, which requires no additional connectors or cables that may increase antenna noise. the “standard version contains a battery holder which must be unsoldered as well as a tiny and unstable IPEX plug for the TX antenna.
      This is a special version directly customized by the manufacturer.
    • Standard version:
      of the T-Beam contains a battery holder which might have to be manually removed due to space reasons. 868MHz TX antenna uses tiny IPEX plug which requires an IPEX to SMA connector cable in addition. This option is more unstable and might increase antenna noise.

 

  • ⚠️Please note that that the optimized version does not contain the default ceramic GPS antenna, as this 5mm version is not working correctly. A 25x25mm ceramic GPS antenna is required instead, for build-in GPS, or an IPEX to SMA connector, for an external GPS mouse
